Future Arena

Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro

Future Arena will host handball during the Olympic Games and goalball during the Paralympic Games. Thanks to the use of ‘nomadic architecture’ the venue will leave a valuable social legacy. After the Games, it will be taken down and its parts will be used in the construction of four public schools.
