The Italian Rowing Federation coaching team, headed by performance director Giuseppe La Mura, after having finalising the Olympic team and making some changes to the line-up of the crews decided in the past few days, yesterday sent the list of crews to CONI's Olympic Preparations for subsequent entry in the Olympic regatta in Rio de Janeiro. La Mura at the end of the regatta in Piediluco, and after completing his work on technique refining, due to issues of a strictly personal nature and in agreement with President Giuseppe Abbagnale, will place all teams under the direct technical responsibility of National Team head coach, Francesco Cattaneo. The team, made up of 18 athletes (9 senior men including the reserve; 7 lightweight men including the reserve; 2 senior women), will finish the event in Piediluco on 27th July.

Departure for Rio de Janeiro has been scheduled for the 30th of July.
