Arianna Schivo steps in for injured Vittoria Panizzon at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The 29 year-old horsewoman, originally from Turin, is set to take part in eventing on Quefira de l'Ormeau.
Therefore, the eventing team is (in alphabetical order) made up of: Stefano Brecciaroli (Apollo Vd Wendi Kurt Hoeve); Luca Roman (Castlewoods Jake); Pietro Roman (Barraduff) and Arianna Schivo (Quefira de l'Ormeau).
At the Olympic equestrian event, Italy will also be represented by Emanuele Gaudiano - who riding Caspar 232 will take part in Show Jumping - and Valentina Truppa (Fixdesign Chablis), competing in the dressage. There are 290 Italian athletes assured of participating in Rio 2016 (150 men, 140 women) in 28 different disciplines.
