Biography
This is the queen of Italian synchronized swimming. She has been swimming since she was three, becoming a synchronette three years later. At the age of 11, she won her first national titles and she has also collected a series of European bronze medals, two in the solo category, two in the duets and some in the Italsincro team challenge recently won in London 2016. Water is her natural element and, at 22, the young swimmer from Savona, with a penchant for movies and music, is ready to experience her first Olympics in the duet event with Costanza Ferro and in the team event. With Ferro, she starred in the TV docu-reality ‘Vite in apnea’ (Lives in Apnoea), a docu-reality following the two synchronettes as they train for the Barcelona 2013 World Championships. At the Maria Lenk Aquatic Centre, instead, she will star in the pool. She has already packed a pair of stockings that her choreographer gave her for good luck.
