This young man from Campania, only twenty years old, born and raised in the sport association Circolo Nautico of Castellammare di Stabiais, has been entrusted with the role of cox of the Italian eights. Despite his tender age, he has already demonstrated the ability to lead crews in international waters, winning four gold medals at the World Championships in three years: two medals with the eights in the Junior class in 2011/2012 and success with the lightweight eights and the coxed pair in 2013, in the Seniors. He got into rowing when he was just 9 years old and since then has continued on this path, adding morning workouts to school commitments. Young and slight, in Rio he is looking to become one of the greats.
