Biography

She had to wait a few years before she managed, at last, to achieve any major results. In fact, after leaving karate and choosing athletics, she suffered from several muscle injuries. However, in 2007, she significantly improved her performance and joined the Italian team in the European Championships, the World Cup, the London Olympics and the Mediterranean Games in 2013, where she took a gold medal in the 4x400 relay. Besides her sporting career, she has successfully managed to complete her medical studies and is now a practising doctor.
