Biography
She was an integral part of the Italian medley relay team that asserted itself at the 2007 EYOF and at last year's Universiade in Korea. The swimmer from Veneto then also contributed to the success of the 4x50m freestyle at the European Short Course Pool Championships, entering the pool before Federica Pellegrini and helping the Italian cause gain a gold medal, which it had been lacking for 25 years. Beside her swimming career, which led her to Rio with the 4x100 m freestyle, she continues her studies in Political Sciences and, precisely for her capacity to skilfully combine sport and university, she has been awarded the prize “Giovanni Dan” by the University of Padua.
