Around two years have passed since she moved to Rome to join the Canottieri Aniene ranks, undertaking the challenge of following the lifestyle of professional athletes for the first time. Indeed, before this new experience, she used to alternate training with her scientific studies, managing nevertheless to achieve excellent sporting results, above all the three medals at the 2013 Mediterranean Games: gold in the 4x100m medley, silver in the 200m backstroke and bronze in the 100m backstroke. Now enrolled at the faculty of Economics in order to continue her academic path, she will celebrate her birthday in Rio, during the swimming competition period.
