He comes from the world of mountain biking, as proven by his victory in the 5th leg of the 2016 Basque tour, which he celebrated by getting off his bike and crossing the finishing line by foot like a real biker. After he started pedalling for fun, he had the opportunity to train with very talented athletes, from whom he learned a lot. He gradually moved on to road cycling and became one of the best cyclists in his team and, more generally, in Italian cycling. His dream is to wear the pink jersey and win the “Giro” but, for the moment, he will try to win with the National team, supported by his family: his mother Enrica, his father Arturo and his brothers Massimo, Davide and Luca.
