The 27-year-old Carabiniere, in fact, earned a bronze in the 200-meter breaststroke race, further improving the Italian record and earning Italy a medal in this event after 10 years of trying. After an excellent career in Junior events, with important achievements at the EYOF and top placements at the Junior World and European Championships, he has reached two major objectives: a continental absolute podium and the Olympic dream.
