Her passion for swimming is hereditary. The Italian athlete, in fact, has followed in her mother’s footsteps and dived into a pool at a very young age. She earned her first medal in the 200m breaststroke race but, over the years, she has made a name for herself, especially in the mixed race and freestyle, a discipline in which she has tested herself in international competitions such as EYOF, World and European University Games. Like many other Italian athletes, she has been able to combine sport and academics, joining the Fiamme Oro sports group and, at the same time, studying Business Administration at University. In 2012 her coach passed away but, after a difficult period, she found the strength to carry on and compete in increasingly important events. Her determination alone deserves a medal.
