Nineteen years old, from Lombardy, she is the promise of Italian swimming or, put more simply, the "atomic frog": a nickname given to her after winning a bronze medal at the Berlin 2014 European Championships. Since she was four years old, she knew that water was her environment, even if, following a few problems at school, she also thought about giving up. When she has time, she loves watching movies (but she prefers watching horror movies with friends) or listening to music: out of the pool, she likes painting her nails (and painting those of her friends). He models are Michael Phelps and Federica Pellegrini, who won an Olympic silver at just 16 years of age. In Rio, she hopes to emulate her, with the goal of painting not just her nails but also the Olympic podium Italian-blue.
