Biography
The new Italian record in the 100 butterfly, achieved at the National Championship in Riccione, opened the door to the Rio Games, where he will be the first Italian swimmer able to break the 51 and a half second barrier for the event. At the London Europeans he confirmed himself as one of the top swimmers, just missing out on the podium back in fourth place. In Brazil he will have to compete with true greats of the pool, but the 26-year-old from Trieste is ready to give his all.
