First Olympic experience for the athlete from Gorizia, a member of the Forestry Division, and pride of his family. At home, in fact, the mountain bike plays a major role: his father Mauro still cycles, girlfriend Alice is a professional cyclist and his twin Daniele competes in the same discipline and for the same sports club. He established himself in the relay at the World Championship in Saafelden 2012 and the Europeans in Moscow in the same year, even winning a bronze in the individual Under-23. He scored his first overall title in 2014 on home soil, using his father's bicycle. For him, like for no one else, riding on two wheels is in his blood.
