Epée fiend in the youth categories (in his palmares there are European titles and two golds at the Under 17 Olympic Games), a promising Italian athlete in Rio. He starts fencing when 10 years old, at the gym of the Acireale Fencing Club and from the very beginning he demonstrates great aptitude for this sport. With a Scientific Lyceum diploma with a grade of 98/100, he attends the Department of Political Sciences in Milan. A staunch supporter of Juventus, he wants to win also in Brazil, but with the Italian team. And to those who before the qualification criticised the Italian team, the 22 year old replied: “We will be there at the Olympic Games and bring honour to Italy as we have always done”.
