Volleyball has become for her a family affair since she met Davide Mazzanti, who became her husband and coach in Conegliano, with which she won the first title in the club's history at the end of last season. From a sporting point of view, she has been considered one of the best Italian talents, showcasing her talent with the national youth team and claiming gold at the Universiade 2009 in Belgrade. After not making the Olympic team for London 2012, she is about to experience her first Games with an extra supporter: in July 2013, she gave birth to a little girl, Gaia.
