She also has roots in Africa, as she was born in Palermo to Ivorian parents. She is about to experience the Olympics in an almost unexpected way, convinced, after the Grand Prix in 2015, of having to give up her place to the senior players. The coach, however, believed in her and named her in the team, so that her Olympic dream became a reality.
