In 2011 he began a fruitful collaboration with Daniele Lupo, a gift that has kept giving and continues to give to both of them a lot of satisfaction, including two appearances at the Olympic Games. Coming from the world of volleyball, which he left early so that he didn’t live away from home, after numerous world and continental successes at youth level, he rewrote historical pages of Italian beach volleyball together with his current partner, winning the Fuzhou Open, the stage of the Shanghai World Tour and European titles in 2014 and 2016, goals never before achieved by Italian athletes. After the operation to his meniscus last year, he is quickly back on the sand, dramatically exceeding the injury through victories.
