Biography
Do not touch the “Count”’s gold. The current world champion arrives in Rio, together with the foil “Dream Team”, to defend the medal won with the other Italian team members at London 2012. With a Scientific Lyceum diploma, the Sicilian 27 year old left Modica and moved to Tuscany. It was the fault of his passion for fencing. His other passion is to play the guitar (his “masters” are Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton), even though for now he put this slightly to one side. He nevertheless listens to music, as it helps him overcome his tensions, and on the podium, he is ready to let out his classic scream at the end of the match: at the end of the day he is still a rock guitarist.
