This young athlete from Brescia may be considered predestined: his whole family practices this sport (his father Bruno and his brother Riccardo), he has won the Under 18 World Title, and has played in the Major National team since the age of 19. The qualification for the games came at the end of the third and last competition at the European championships in Slovakia, during which “he did not get into the water with the same grit as in the previous competitions”, but it was enough for him to surpass the London 2012 champion, Daniele Molmenti. The future is his, and Rio will prove it.
