Emanuele was born in Matera but is German by adoption. At 30 years of age he is chomping at the bit to experience his first Olympic Games and to make his best efforts for his native hometown and for his family: in particular his wife Henrike and his little ones, Lisa and Elia. After having first got onto a horse in the equestrian centre run by his father, Giovanni, who had passed on to him his love of horses, he moved to northern Italy at age 15, and then on to Frankfurt to pursue his dream. Countless international successes grace his CV, including the World Cup Grand Prix at London's Olympia. However, this horseman is self-sufficient, and with his determination he is ready to overcome all obstacles to excel as a leader.
