Very serious and determined to make up for some unfortunate seasons (he was European champion in the mixed 4x100, and he is current champion in the 4x50 mixed race and came second in the short course 100 butterfly race), he was driven even higher by his love for swimmer Ilaria Scarcella. The 24-year-old Milanese champion has a passion for Ferraris, Valentino Rossi and Ducati motorbikes because racing is in his DNA. In Brazil, however, it will be his job to raise the Italian colours.
