Biography
Born in ‘96, in Rimini, he is at the cutting edge of his sport. At the Natanaya short course European championships, he was one of the most brilliant of the Italian competitors (with two individual medals and two gold medals in the relay race). But he rose to fame at the Nanjing Youth Olympics in 2014 (a gold, a silver and a bronze) where he was also acknowledged as best European athlete with the relative “Piotr Nurowski” award by the European Olympic Committees. And his heart is just as big: he is, in fact, often involved in volunteer activities. Italian record breaker and backstroke champion, whenever he can, he goes to the beach in Riccione. He loves music (Tiziano Ferro is amongst his favourite singers) but his main distraction is women. “If I could, I’d aim high and go for model Emily Ratajkowski”, he said in an interview. In Rio, he will meet beautiful women from all over the world, but it’s Italy he will give joy to. Also because his girlfriend (and colleague), Silvia Di Pietro, will be there to keep an eye on him.
