The 22 year old from Busto Arsizio is the only gymnast in the Italian team qualifying for the Rio Games. This is his first Olympic competition and he will have to do his best to replace Matteo Morandi, bronze in London 2012, in the hearts of Italian fans. But the most important of stages does not intimidate him: at the Youth Olympic Games he won a bronze in the parallel bars; at the Ariston theatre he danced with the crew that opened the 62nd Sanremo Festival. He has made brief appearances on various TV shows such as the docu-reality series “Ginnaste – Vite parallele” and the talent show “Tu si que vales”. Now ‘Ludo’ also wants to prove himself in Brazil, conquering the all-around finals.
