Biography

At 35, he has no intention of giving in. Now at his third Olympic Games, he wants to celebrate with a placing at least among the best 15. Married to Claudia, the Roman runner has two daughters. In the past, he has also worked on the catwalk and as a model; instead, until the age of 19, he tried a bit of everything, from track racing to jumps, becoming one of the most reliable specialists in the 50k race walk. He is definitely going to the Rio Games to make an impression.
