Biography
After two European titles and two Junior World Championship titles in the eight and an Under-23 world title in the coxless four, he became part of Italian rowing history with World gold in 2015 in the coxless four, last won by an Italian team 20 years ago, when he was little more than a year old. He is the only one from the winning quartet in France not from Naples: he is, in fact, originally from Terracina like Alessio Sartori, winner of an Olympic gold, silver and bronze, and his mother's cousin. He will try to emulate him in Rio, at his first Games, because rowing success is in his blood.
