His grandmother was from Rivalta Bormida and that gave him the opportunity to obtain Italian citizenship and a place in the team coached by Campagna. After winning practically everything in Marseilles, he came to Italy and has been improved each year, reaching the peak of his sports career. Outside the swimming pool he is interested in psychology and loves music, he plays the piano and composes electronic music on his pc. He is inspired by another naturalized Italian water polo player, Amauryus Perez, who won the world championship in Shanghai and a silver medal in London.
