Biography
He was already part of the Italian eights at the Athens Olympics, coming home in seventh place. After being overlooked in 2008, and after the eleventh place in the quadruple sculls in London, he now returns to compete in the same event he competed in on his Olympic debut. His trophy cabinet contains 8 World Championship medals, along with consistent top-ten finishes at the Worlds, starting from the juniors at the start of the millennium. Alongside rowing, he has a passion for motorcycles, cars and water sports.
