Biography

She had a brilliant youth career, reaching its apex at the 2015 Antwerp European Junior Championships, which saw her reap a great victory in the 400m freestyle with the new championship record, together with the silver medals in the 200 and 4x200 m freestyle. Together with these successes, she also sports an individual youth World Champion title and two over-18 European golds, the latter obtained together with her Italian relay teammates. She is taking part in Olympic Games for the second time, after her experience in London, which she tackled when she was only 16.
