Biography
The 27 year old fencer from Livorno, grown in the club founded by Nedo Nadi, wants to live her second Olympic experience to the fullest. Having set aside her fear for travelling by plane, she flies to Brazil to complete the Italian sabre team. Fencing, at the end of the day, is her life: from when she started practising it with her brother Giulio, who was mad for Zorro. Under her belt, together with an European gold and various bronzes, she has a degree in Political Sciences, with international specialisation. From London 2012, instead, she brought back her love story with coach Marco Ciari. She loves reading and travelling. And a photo with an Olympic medal round her neck would be a nice postcard to send from Rio
