Butterfly or freestyle, it doesn’t matter as long as it's swimming. A true blue Roman, she grafted a whole bunch of medals as a junior swimmer and is one of the Italian record holders in the 4x100 freestyle event. Too young to take part in Beijing 2008 and disappointed to have just missed qualifying for London 2012, she finally wants to live her Olympic dream. Simone Sabbioni, her fiancé and national teammate, will be with her in Rio. She loves movies and music and, when she is not in the pool, she enjoys going out with friends or, during periods she is under pressure, just sleeping. However, in Brazil, the 23-year-old will certainly be reactive.
