The talented judoka from Settimo Torinese was first noticed as a kid, when he won a gold, a silver and two bronze medals at the European and World Youth championships, obtaining the third place at the Mediterranean Games in 2013 (at the age of 19) and in the last continental tournament. He loves company and loves to relate with people who share their feelings on social media, but his real strength comes from his family who constantly supports his brilliant career. During the last appointment for the Olympic qualifications, he won over his friend and rival Elio Verde, fifth in London 2012, thus leaving him out of the Olympic Games in Brazil.
