After finishing the race at the London Games, she burst into tears as a result of emotions felt taking part in the Olympics. Emotions that this sport continues to give her, judging from medals won and placings in both Italian and international events (the most recent being silver at the 2015 European Championships). From very young age she had ventured into dance and rhythmic gymnastics, revealing immediately, however, a greater propensity to race, until the decision to abandon all other activities to focus exclusively on the triathlon. Her other great passion is fashion: a wardrobe full of clothes to put on awaits her every time she takes off the "work" clothes.
