Jamel Chatbi (3000-metre steeplechase) has been excluded as a result of missed doping tests. 308 Italian athletes in Rio

CONI, in agreement with FIDAL, has ruled out the participation in Rio of athlete Jamel Chatbi (3000-metre steeplechase), who informed his club of having missed a third doping test last year. 

308 Italian athletes (164 men and 144 women) have qualified for the Games.
