CONI president Giovanni Malagò and General Secretary Roberto Fabbricini, at the Olympic Training Centre Giulio Onesti, today met the Italian women's Volleyball team who are setting off for Rio de Janeiro tomorrow.
During the visit Malagò met with both head coach Marco Bonitta and the athletes, wishing the best of luck to the team who are set to start their Olympic campaign against Serbia on the 6th of August. The President of the Olympic Committee wished to reaffirm his strong belief in the Italian team, urging the whole group to give their all at the Olympic Games.
Depending on the various commitments he will have to undertake in Rio de Janeiro, Malagò assured that, if possible, he will be present at the Italian team's matches.
