ROAD TO OLYMPIC GAMES

The Trap, Double Trap, and Canoe Slalom Olympic teams fly to Brazil

Chasing the Olympic dream. Tomorrow five shooting athletes and two slalom canoeists depart for Brazil where they will represent the national team. Aboard the flight to South America will be the stars of the Trap, London Olympics 2012 champion Jessica Rossi, Giovanni Pellielo, the longest serving member of the Italian team, as well as the record holder for most Olympic appearances (7), Massimo Fabbrizi and the two qualifiers for the Double Trap, Antonino Barillà and Marco Innocenti. The finals for the Trap will take place on the 7th (women) and 8th August (men), respectively, whilst on the 10th August it will be the turn of the Double Trap. Giovanni De Gennaro and Stefanie Horn will represent Italy in canoeing at the “Whitewater Stadium”, with the K1 finals on the 10th (men) and 11thAugust (women).
