Europeans: Folorunso flies through to the finals in the 400m hurdles and sprints towards Rio to become the 274th blue contestant

The blue athletics group taking part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio is growing.

Ayomide Folorunso has indeed made it through to the final of the 400m hurdles of the European Champioships in Amsterdam with 55.87 (the minimum to qualify for the Olympics was set at 56.20).

The 19-year old Nigerian will return tomorrow in the race for the European final.

There are 274 athletes who are sure of their participation in the Rio 2016 Games (143 men, 131 women) in 27 different disciplines, with 181 individual passes.
