Galvan flies to Rio in the 400 metres

Matteo Galvan flies to Rio in the 400 metres: the Italian national – in the European track and field games underway in Amsterdam – has once again matched the Italian record he set recently at the Rieti Assoluti, that 45"12 that earned him a spot in the finals, automatically opening the doors to the Olympics for him. There are 272 athletes who are sure of their participation in the Rio 2016 Games (143 men, 129 women) in 27 different disciplines, with 179 individual passes.
