There will be 35 Italian team swimmers in Rio 2016. The composition of the Italian team that will represent the swimming discipline in the XXXI Edition of the Summer Olympic Games has indeed been made official. The final choice, agreed between FIN and CONI, sees the participation of 18 men and 17 women.

The Italian athletes who are certain to participate in Rio 2016 have gone up to 269 (141 men, 128 women) in 27 different disciplines, with 157 individual passes.
