Judo, Valentina Moscatt qualified in the 48 kg category: 268 Italian athletes at the Olympic Games

Valentina Moscatt obtained the Olympic judo qualification, 48 kg category, by virtue of the final calculations associated with ranking. She is the sixth athletes in this discipline who will take part in the Rio Games: together with Moscatt (ANSA photo), Odette Giuffrida (52), Edwige Gwend (63), Elios Manzi (60), Fabio Basile (66) and Matteo Marconcini (81) will also fly to Brazil.

The Italian athletes who are certain to participate in Rio 2016 have gone up to 268 (140 men, 128 women) in 27 different disciplines, with 137 individual passes.
