After a brief period in Padova, the athlete from Catania returned to Sicily some years ago to don the caps of the Ortigia, Catania and Messina, where she currently plays in centre position. After winning a gold at the 2008 European Junior event, she has become a stable fixture of the major national team, which she played with in the medalled editions of the European Championships in 2012 and 2016 and in the 2015 World Championships. At 27, and after more than 150 matches with the national team, she is ready for her first Olympic event.
