She returns to the Games after “the most wonderful experience of her life” when at 17 she competed in the London 2012 Games. Since then, the Italian athlete has taken part in a number of international events and won a team bronze at the 2012 European championships in Brussels. With more than 500 thousand fans on Instagram, 170 thousand on Twitter, 130 thousand on Facebook and a YouTube channel, she is the queen of social networks, which is also thanks to a docu-reality series and a number of small roles on TV. The 21-year-old has already published three books and now enjoys dispensing advice on make-up to Italian teenagers. But never consider her a diva. After Rio, she would like to enrol in university (maybe to take psychology). But, now, she wants to concentrate solely on the Olympic Games with the aim to take the gold.
