Born less than 100 days before, and 50 km away (in Genoa) from, Linda Cerruti, she is about to experience her first Olympic competition. After winning a number of titles in the duets, in the team category and in the combined freestyle, and then the recent European bronze in the London 2016 World Championships, she is ready to measure herself alongside the world’s top stars in the Olympic showcase. In the duet with Cerruti (her “lifelong partner” - they have been swimming together since they were six!), the 23 year old with a penchant for theatre, music and dance, will try to surpass Giulia Lupi and Mariangela Perrupato who came sixth in the London 2012 Games. In the team challenge, instead, she will be plunging into the Olympics with Italsincro, qualifying for the first time in 12 years.
