Before rowing, he practiced swimming and basketball, and then, following the advice of his PE teacher, he embraced this sport, immediately feeling comfortable with it. He particularly likes the healthy environment of this sport, with the just and loyal competitive spirit that is established between adversaries. He has taken part in three Junior World Championships gaining just as many medals: two gold medals in the eight, in 2011 and 2012, and a silver in the coxless four, two years later. Before every race he gears himself up by listening to music and whiles away the time hanging out with his team. Young, but with an excellent CV and a great future in front of him, he is ready to embark on the five circle adventure.
