Sweeping natural landscapes, safaris and trips marked her childhood spent in Kenya, where she had moved with her parents at a very young age. Having given up her hopes of playing tennis professionally, she followed her father’s advice and focused her attention on golf, which her father thought would help her socially. Therefore, at 16, in order to study and pursue her sporting development on the green, she moved to the United States, turning professional in 2012 and making a name for herself on the 2013 Symetra Tour, finishing in second place and claiming the "Rookie of the year" award. She continued her growth by joining the main women's tour, able to count on consistent excellent placings. Besides golf, she also has a passion for photography and kite surfing, while still maintaining a strong bond with Africa and its nature.
